You may have recently noticed an update to the WhatsApp app on your smartphone. While it might not look like much at first, this small update could provide you with a lot of fun and whimsy in your texting conversations. It's now possible to send stickers from the popular Telegram messaging app to all of your friends through WhatsApp! Follow along below to learn more about how this works and how you can take advantage of it.

What Are Telegram Stickers?

Telegram stickers are images that can be sent with text messages and it's the company's take on emojis. It was launched in 2017 and has now expanded to other messaging apps such as Whatsapp. Telegram stickers are available in a variety of types such as video games, popular TV shows, movie scenes, cartoons and much more. They can also be uploaded from your mobile device with a camera or you can search for them from your phone's photo library.

How Do I Get Them?

In order to access the stickers, make sure you have updated your WhatsApp application and downloaded the latest sticker pack update. Simply open up a chat, go into the sticker folder, and you'll find over 8 million of the cutest, coolest, and funniest stickers ever. And don't worry—you don't need to download any other apps or search for them in another messenger service in order to use them. They're all right there in your phone!

What Can I Do With Them?

Right now you can use stickers with any contact or group conversation and this feature is only available for Android devices. Once you receive a sticker, simply tap and hold it to place it into your chat, then release your finger from the screen. This will bring up a menu that will allow you to resize, rotate, remove the sticker, change its background color or delete it. There are stickers in every category including seasonal greetings and events like Christmas or Halloween.

Where Do I Find More?

Follow these steps and you'll be able to use Telegram stickers in any conversation: 

1. If you don't have it already, download the latest version of the app for either iOS or Android. 

2. In Settings, enable 'Manage Chats' by following the prompts from the app. This will allow WhatsApp to share data with your phone's default SMS/MMS app, which is necessary for downloading stickers from within a chat thread.
